A departure from Klez into the cooking pot of European music. This is possibly THE most famous partisan song, and while we are not all partisans, we certainly identify with the sentiments in this song. We all love the song, and when we play it live have even given a twist to the intro which lets us apply the sentiments of the song to our tāngata whenua. Nikki (one of our fecund violinists) introduced this Rebs concert favourite to the band, surely influenced by her Italian husband!
